Security Assessments
At OKEMA, we offer regular, or one time, security assessments. We tailor the scope of these assessments to the needs of your company, and deliver you with a writeup including actionable next steps for mitigating any of the risks we found. If you feel confident that you already have good security practices, but want a second opinion, this is a great option. We price all our assessments based on what makes sense for your business, and we're sure we can work with you to find an assessment plan that works for you.
Building a Secure Start
For the needs of most small businesses, hiring a full time cybersecurity professional right at the beginning is overkill. The majority of the work that needs to get done is one time configurations, and setting up tools that run pretty much on their own, so keeping a full time employee on after that, just to monitor your data is usually a needless expense. Recognizing that, we offer the services of one of our cyber security specialists to work with you to set up all the needed cybersecurity controls and teach you how to keep them running, so you won't need to incur the costs of hiring an additional full time employee long-term.
Quickstart Course
If your business has more man-hours than funds, and is not in a place where hiring security staff makes sense, we offer a short one week intensive course to get you the background you need to work on securing yourself. After consulting with you to understand the needs of your company, we tailor our course work to fit your needs, and work with 1-2 of your employees to teach them what they would need to know to start securing your business. While it would be much more efficient to use a cyber professional for this, we understand that there are some situations where this just isn't an option, so we offer this course to demonstrate that there is really no excuse for not having good cyber practices.
